The difference between implementing Runnable and extending Thread is that by extending Thread, each of your threads has a unique object associated with it, whereas with Runnable, many threads share the same object instance. But when we use Runnable Interface then we can not use the all property of thread easily. Another difference When we use Thread class , we can not extend another class because Java does not support multiple inheritance.
